About The Artist
Mary Wood Tabar is an accomplished artist. Textiles is the medium she loves! She taught quilting, surface design, and fabric dyeing,
for Palomar Community College and San Diego Continuing Education. She is currently lecturing and teaching for quilt guilds and quilt shows. She lives with her husband in San Diego California.

She has a BS in Industrial Technology, and California CLAD Teaching Credential. Mary’s award winning quilts have been exhibited
locally, nationally, and internationally.

Mary has designed and published a series of patterns called Snip & Flip. These patterns are machine appliqué and have many
variations and layouts.
