Water Color Strip Quilt
This lovely strip quilt is made from only three floral fabrics and one border fabric. Students will make different fabric strip stratas and cut half square triangles to design and create their own version of this quilt. There are dozens of possible layouts.

Direct Fabric Dyeing
At the start, students will dye three yards of white fabric in a low immersion dye process using three colors. Then producing a variation of 12 colors. All dyes are premixed and ready to use for students. In the afternoon we will be direct dyeing on shirts and fabric.

Discharge Dyeing
Students will learn different methods of discharge dyeing, by using stamps, stencils, brushes and an assortment of objects. Painting with fabric markers and fabric ink. Learn this fast and easy technique.
